8 Lakh Youth Given Government Jobs: UP CM Yogi Adityanath Calls UPPSC Fair and Transparent

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Sunday announced that 8 lakh youth have been provided with government jobs in the last eight years through a fair and transparent recruitment process. The announcement was made while distributing appointment letters to newly selected candidates by UPPSC.

Fair and Transparent Recruitment Process

CM Yogi emphasized that strict measures have been implemented to ensure only deserving candidates are selected. He stated, “I thank you for being selected through a fair and transparent recruitment process. In the last eight years, we have provided government jobs to eight lakh youth in Uttar Pradesh. Our goal is to ensure no youth faces discrimination in any selection process in the state.”

Uttar Pradesh's Transformation

The Chief Minister highlighted that Uttar Pradesh had overcome its negative image from the past. He said, “Eight years ago, the youth of Uttar Pradesh faced stigma, and the state was labeled as a BIMARU state. Today, it has become the second-largest economy in India and the fastest-growing state.”

Reforms in Recruitment and Investment

CM Yogi stated that the recruitment process has been made completely transparent, eliminating the need for recommendations. “Now, there is a flood of jobs,” he added. He also mentioned that the secure environment in the state has encouraged industrial investment and job creation.

Skill Development and Industrial Growth

The Chief Minister further highlighted initiatives in skill development, stating, “Around 14 lakh youth have received training from Kaushal Vikas and are now employed. Earlier, ITIs were shutting down, but today, the government is running 300+ ITIs, while over 3000 ITIs are operating in the private sector.”
